Emech Medical commenced operation in 1996 as a business supplying rehabilitation
equipment including hospital beds, hoists and specialty chairs primarily into
Resthomes. We also undertook to service everything that we sold and the service side of
the business grew into servicing many varied pieces of equipment.

The range that we sold continued to expand and in 2004 we opened the Medical side of the
business and took on several agency's including MOCOM Benchtop Autoclaves, BTL Diagnostic
Equipment and the Pelstar Scales range. This grew rapidly and we also purchased calibration
equipment so that we could offer a biomedical and calibration service for backup for the
equipment that we sold.

Today we stock and sell a wide range of products to primary healthcare providers including
Hospitals, Medical / Surgical Centres, Dentists, Veterinarians and Podiatrists. Emech Medical
is now a large national corporate healthcare supplier providing sales & support services NZ
wide with a large client base including all of the District Health Boards.
