About us:
Emech Medical began back in 1996 as a small family owned company supplying rehabilitation equipment including hospital beds, hoists and specialty chairs primarily into Resthomes. We also undertook to service everything that we sold and the service side of the business grew into servicing many varied pieces of equipment.
The range that we sold continued to expand and in 2004 we opened the Medical side of the business and took on several agency's including MOCOM Benchtop Autoclaves, Riester Diagnostic Equipment and the MIR Spirometry range. This grew rapidly and we also purchased calibration equipment so that we could offer a biomedical and calibration service for backup for the equipment that we sold.
Today we stock and sell a wide range of equipment to primary healthcare providers including Hospitals, Medical / Surgical Centres, Dentists, Veterinarians and Podiatrists. Our range has grown significantly but we still concentrate on products that we are knowledgeable about and can offer full support for. We have grown substantially since back in 1996 but we are still family owned and retain our community values & links.
Our goals
We sit down at the start of every calendar year and assess what we are looking to achieve. We look at each product line that we sell and ask if it is performing how we would be expecting it too. We look at the backup and support that we offer for each particular line and ask ourselves if we can do more or do what we do better or more efficiently. We want and take proactive steps to ensure that the products that we put in your hands will work for you and that the service and support for that product is of a high level.
Our Products & Suppliers
We source our product range from Australia, America, Italy and Germany. We work with distributors in both Australia and New Zealand to achieve buying discounts and to help in continuity and timeliness of supply. Our suppliers have well proven products that have been tried & tested as well as having good product development programmes that ensure modern technological advances are incorporated into all products.
